Distinctive -

I am composing a list of beliefs to which my family holds dear. The list will include some basic Christian tenets and some applications of God's truth which we believe to be good inferences from His Word. My aim with the list is to simply state a variety of points, distinguishing our family from broad assumptions regarding Christianity which are occasionally amiss. Hopefully, the theses will offer explanation to some situations which have a tendency to leave friends and family scratching their heads. I realize that we preach to family and friends with our lives, but I think it is in the interest of avoiding confusion and awkward moments, to lay out some basic distinctives of our family. Maybe the principle is similar to churches which lay out some fundamental descriptors in their name or motto.
