Is that normal? -

I am very happy that my lovely bride knows more than I do about the sleep patterns of infants. When I awoke this morning, I could not remember Shona getting up in the night to tend to Alyssa. When I asked, Shona said that Alyssa had not required tending. Since I knew it had been 9 hours since we put 7 week old Alyssa into her crib, I was sure that something was wrong. But Shona, with great confidence, assured me that while 9 hour nights may not be common, it did not mean that something was wrong. So my concern evolved into elation. A full night's rest...how nice.
