Big Snow

I wrote recently about the wintery precipitation building up on my back deck one morning. Its kind of a big deal to get real winter weather in Arkansas. Every year, we get a couple of wintery events, but more often than not, they don't amount to much.

This morning, as the sun rises to what appears to be a completely clear sky, we have at least 8 inches of very nice snow covering everything. I measured it at 7.5" before going to bed and it appears that we got another inch overnight. This much snow is a really big deal.

The snowman in the front yard from yesterday morning appears to be playing hide-and-seek since he is nearly buried in new snow.
