Snow

We got our first decent snow of the season last night and the children have been out playing in it with Mama this morning. Pics are posted via slideshow in the column at the right.

Around these parts, it is highly unusual to get a true snow event. We usually see freezing rain, sleet, ice. If we're lucky, we sometimes get a coating of snow over top of the nasty dangerous stuff. But this morning, we woke up to snow-only. Fresh powder, seemingly dry. I brushed it right off of my truck with no problem and the glass on my windshield was dry underneath. And my windshield wipers were not stuck at all. Pretty cool.
