This is only a brief break from my break. It seems now that I have "taken down" the blog for an indefinite break, my visitor count has gone up significantly. I can only imagine two explanations for this.
1) Some people who enjoyed following my blog are thinking that this break will be short and could end any day now, so they are coming here more frequently to see if I'm back. While I'm flattered by this possible explanation, I need to point out for any of you in this category, that I don't think this break will be over soon.
2) Maybe someone who shares my name has done something to gain national and some international attention, which has caused folks to plug my name into Google or Yahoo...thus leading them here. To those of you who may fall into this category, let me point out that I am not him, and/or he is not me.
