Delighting in Politeness
Many of you know that I am not a particularly daring eater. I enjoy eating (possibly too much), but I am not usually too excited about trying new things. HOWEVER, I am polite. So you do not have to fear putting something new in front of me for supper, because I will (9.9 times out of 10) eat the meal with a smile on my face, appreciating your generous labor of love even if I detest the taste. One of the great benefits of being so nice, is that occasionally I am surprised by enjoying something that I imagined I would not enjoy. Last night, my sister-in-law and her husband cooked for us and frankly I was skeptical when I heard the dish was Leek and Gorgonzola Risotto...but I dove right in and yes, I actually liked it. So, if you are looking for something to try...since I imagine that most of you have never tried Leek and Gorgonzola Risotto...I recommend this dish.
