In case you don't already follow the blog, "Rafting the Tiber" by Mark Windsor, I would like to point you toward a series he has just completed called Habemus Papam which means "We have a Pope!". It is an excellent little series of posts about the Pope and if you have any curiosity about the Pope, here is a great place to start reading. The author's introduction says: "This series will delve into several different aspects of the papacy, its origins and its succession, with the idea of explaining the office to those thinking of conversion."
