As I have mentioned on several previous occasions here, I now maintain a separate blog for posts of a particularly "religious" nature. Though there will be posts on this blog which are deemed by some to be religious, if I consider a post to be controversial, I will reserve it for the other blog. At least, that's the plan for now.
I am providing a link at the bottom of this post, but I want you to consider this little tidbit of advice before you allow your curiosity to take you zipping on over there to check it out.
"Wisdom inebriates men with her fruits."
It may be wise to avoid religious blogs which are maintained by young, ordinary laymen who hold to some beliefs which may tend to run contrary to your own. My new blog is titled "Irresistably Drawn", and the title reflects a significant truth about my conversion to the Catholic faith. I am not encouraging you to refrain from visiting Irresistably Drawn, but I do generally want you to take care with the sort of things that you allow your mind to ingest while you sit at your computer.
Your response might tend toward one of two poles: 1) my faith may irritate you to the point of your feeling obligated to "right my wrongs" in a not-so-brotherly way, or 2) you may fall in love with the Catholic Church. The former would greatly disappoint me, while the latter would bring me great joy. But most of you are ordinary laymen like myself and there are folks in your closest acquaintance who care very deeply for you and who would want to be involved in any considerations which may lead you to a significant life-changing decision. I urge you to be full of wisdom, fearing the Lord.
With no further pother..."Irresistably Drawn"
I thank you once again for your interest.
