Sissies

Alyssa (big sissy) and Ella Kathryn (little sissy) shared a room at home last night for the first time. We've all shared a room together when visiting family, but this was the first time for the two sissies to sleep in the same room at home. Alyssa was in her big-girl-bed of course, and Ella Kathryn moved into Alyssa's old crib. It was a surprising success.

I've got a couple more funny bits to add to the favourites below.

Alyssa pronounces Ella Kathryn as "Ella Kafalun."

When Alyssa wants you to join her in looking at something, she says, "This way, I show you sumpalun." Also, she sometimes replaces "this way" with "come on."

When we drive by a church in town during the evening that has some angels (outlined in Christmas lights) blowing trumpets, Alyssa musically adds this commentary: "Dooo Dooo!". This, obviously, is the sound that the trumpets make.
