Favoured Brews

1554 - Brussels Style Black Ale (New Belgium Brewery)
"The beer is fermented at relatively high temperatures using a European lager yeast that imparts a refreshing, zesty acidity. Chocolate and coffee tones in the nose give way to a surprisingly clean finish."

Samuel Adams Black Lager (Samuel Adams Brewery)
"Schwarzbier [black beer] comes from Germany, is lightly hopped and is fermented using a bottom fermenting lager yeast. A medium bodied beer brewed using several different roasts of malt to give the end product a smooth body and a depth of malt character that has to be tasted to be believed."

Newcastle Brown Ale (Newcastle Brewery)
"First brewed in 1927, Newcastle Brown Ale is a unique and stylish premium ale with a distinctive deep red colour and a rich, creamy head."

And to prove that I am not a beer snob (while also hurting my credibility with serious beer connoisseurs):

Budweiser Select (Anheuser-Busch)
"Handpicked blends of imported and domestic hops, choice grains, an extended brewing process - these decisions were made to create a beer with a crisp, distinctive taste that finishes clean."
