Pogonotrophy

I recently referenced a website which is now in my sidebar as "World Wide Words." Today, I learned a new word there, pogonotrophy, which is supposed to mean "cultivation of a beard; beard-growing." Early in this blog's existence I began to grow my beard and I would give periodic updates on the progress of my pogonotrophy. It's been a while since I provided such an update, and since I learned this new word, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to tell you that my beard is in good condition and my one-year anniversary is in sight. My apologies to those of you who have been on the edge of your seat since the last update.
