Stonewall Lang's Beard

A recent comment under my anniversary picture prompted me to revisit Film Director Ron Maxwell's homepage where I found this Gods and Generals photo gallery from the making of the movie. There are some good shots of the Stonewall Jackson character. Pictures of the real Stonewall reveal a beard which seems to prove that Wahl was not yet producing electric beard trimmers at that time. My aim is to replicate the beard of the actor who played Stonewall in Gods and Generals, Stephen Lang. I don't know a lot about Mr. Lang, but I admire his work in portraying General Jackson, and more particularly, I admire the beard he wore for the film. (For the record, I only wear the CSA full dress uniform in the evenings and on weekends.)

UPDATE: For all you fact-checkers, Mr. Wahl didn't begin experimenting on an electric hair clipper until 1911.
