There was a great soprano sax musician entertaining passers-by during the lunch hour in front of the Downtown Deli today. I might have paid for the pleasure of listening to him if I had been close enough to make a donation. I haven't found such performances to be very common on my block here, but I'd be happy if this man would hang out around here more often. I might make an investment in a used tuba and inquire about duet opportunities. Think of that offer, my playing could double the donations, and I could ask for only a 35/65% split. I don't know if I could get-rich-quick through such an endeavor, but it would be fun.
