A Votive Family Liturgy

Father:
As husband and as father, I will submit to the Almighty King,
And leading my family, the Word of God shall in our ears ring;
Protecting and providing – for body and spirit of all,
Guided by His Word, I will heed the call;

Mother:
As wife and as mother, I too submit to God
And to my husband, I give a submissive nod
I will love him and help him, raising our children right
Guided by His Word, I praise God day and night;

Child(ren):
As a child to Godly parents, I too submit to Him,
I submit to my parents, and seek to honor them,
I learn and obey, and hope to never turn away,
Guided by His Word, I know the price Christ had to pay;

All:
Let not worldliness encroach upon our home,
For our home is governed by the Word of God alone.
