It seems to me that the United States President gets paid a very low salary considering his responsibilities. But on further reflection, I realize that his monthly paycheck doesn't have to cover much. Right? When was the last time you saw a President swiping his debit card at a gas pump? It's not like he is running down to Economy Liquor to grab his own bottle of wine, or haggling with DirecTV about the monthly bank draft for his account. I suspect his landlord doesn't charge rent or make him pay for his own electricity or trash pickup. So, maybe that salary is enough since he is keeping so much of it.
