- I managed to get Alyssa to say both "Hippopotamus" and "Enchilada" in one evening. It's so funny to hear a 2 year old, who ordinarily has a remarkably good way of pronouncing words, as she tries to pronounce a difficult or new word.
- Ella Kathryn has been making noises (other than crying) for a while now, but yesterday she made her first noise which sounded like a word...Da Da. Yes, I was very happy. This was a great victory over Shona who managed to get Alyssa to say Ma Ma first.
- Belle's five pups are healthy and growing. Tomorrow, they will be four weeks old. They have their eyes open and are walking around relatively well. Belle considers them a threat to her food bowl so that's been interesting. The pups seem to be developing personalities and we have named the boy we plan to keep...Oliver. He is chocolate in color.
