Vacation

As I write, it is 8:20am on a Monday and I am not at work and it is not a holiday. It was exactly one year ago today the last time I was off of work on a Monday without it being a holiday. One new pleasure this morning that I didn't have last year is a second daughter, Ella Kathryn. In the ordinary course of a weekday, I don't see either of my children awake until supper time, so it was a particular delight this morning to have both girls piled up in my bed playing. I hope that God fills the rest of my vacation with the same sort of joyful moments.
