Confused

Chocolate candy should not be made in the shape of cute animals or generally in the image of anything living. We gave Alyssa a small chocolate treat (bite-size) which looked like a teddy bear. But Alyssa, who loves chocolate, would not eat it. She cuddled it in her arms and said that the bear was asleep. She kissed it and talked to it, but wouldn't actually eat it. Don't get me wrong, it was very cute. But, I did think that this could lead to confusion about a few things. In the end, we opened another candy and ate it, to demonstrate what to do (likely story, right?). She caught on and was pleasantly surprised at the sweet taste of bear.
