In 2 Peter 1:15, Peter promises "I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease." How do "these things" carry on other than by this letter? Is some other "reminder" in view here where he uses the future tense instead of saying, "I will be careful to ensure that this letter arrives safely and that it will be laminated so as to prevent wear-and-tear until the end of "always."
