Pass the ice for my toes

I've just started a new book, Peter Leithart's A House For My Name. I haven't quite made it through half of the introduction and already my toes are throbbing for having been stepped on. Yes, for those few of you who read this blog and didn't already know this: I am still, in far too many ways, a typical modern evangelical. I am culpably ignorant of the Old Testament and have therefore failed to love the Word of God as I should.
