Call it an unintentional mini-garver, one full week without any activity here. I assure you that my interest in writing has not declined, but the priority list hasn't left much room for blogging lately.
We just returned home from a good visit with my parents. That will probably be the last "trip" we take before the birth of our next child. The 37 week check-up this morning revealed "normal" progress toward the big day.
Our darling daughter does not seem prepared to have a little sibling in the house. But I'm not so sure that we're prepared for this second child either. For being as "laid back" as we supposedly are by reputation, we do a decent job of thinking on our feet (with God's very merciful help) so there's little cause for anxiety as we approach the first birthday of this little one's life.
To God alone be all the glory!
