Blogiversary

I messed around and completely forgot to celebrate my first blogiversary. While the dates in my archives may confuse you, my first day as a blogger was December 23, 2003. It has been a good experience and I plan on continuing here. Except for my recent silence, I had a nice steady increase in readership for a while through the summer and fall. I may have reached the max load of readers for my "market" - those who either know me personally in real life or have some degree of similar interests and beliefs and don't mind a frequent lack of depth and occasional absence of writing skills.

The "direction" of this blog has been a bit here and there. I've offered commentary on subjects which might have been better served by my silence, while I've been silent on topics that might have proven very helpful and interesting. One thing is certain, I have learned rather a lot via blogdom and I'm happy to have stumbled into it.
