Auburn Avenue Pastors' Conference 2005

While I’m still pondering what sort of comment to provide here regarding my first AAPC experience, I thought I’d drop some names to increase my credibility factor as a blogger.

Among the following names, I either 1) met them, 2) met them for a second time, 3) conversed with them, or 4) some combination of 1 or 2 with 3:

Doug Wilson, Richard Gaffin, Jim Jordan, Tim Gallant, Gregg Strawbridge, Barb Harvey, Gaines and Allison Redd, BJ Kennedy, Jon Amos, Remy Wilkins, Steve Wilkins, Rich Lusk, Duane Garner, and the now well-publicized blogger Daniel Kirk (in case you somehow missed it, Daniel’s new blog was linked by Mark Horne, Alastair Roberts, Richard Okimoto, Jeff Steel, Paul Baxter, Joel Wilhelm, and probably a few others).

There were several other folks that I met and/or conversed with and I reckon it would be better if I didn't try to make an exhaustive list.

I was very close to, but did not actually meet several hundred folks, including Right Reverend Bishop N.T. Wright.

Most importantly, I enjoyed a lot of fellowship with the teaching elder and ruling elder from Christ Church, as well as Chori Seraiah (Pastor of Trinity Reformation Church in Salem, Oregon) and also a pastor and his son from a nearby Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
