A person (or persons) reporting on behalf of a study committee within a PCA presbytery has issued a statement warning of errors being propagated by "Federal Vision proponents." Pastor Doug Wilson has offered a few comments on the November 2 statement.
Early in the "committee report," there appears to be a tone of slight frustration when "FV proponents" are said to have "...propagated their views...through the Internet – a vibrant support network for this theology."
To which Wilson responds:
"Okay, fine with me. Let's play chase. We'll be the bloggers and you be Dan Rather!"
What a brilliant analogy; if you aren't familiar with Rathergate, just know that a senior CBS news anchor attempted to blatantly misrepresent the truth recently and he was sufficiently pounced on by those who knew better.
