Concession

I am pleased that Senator Kerry is not our president. President Bush stepped up to a fairly tough challenger and managed to retain his position, with the support of over 59 million Americans. No matter how you cut it, having that many folks in this county punch the button next to your name for such a high position is impressive.

I reckon that the volume of political blogging will subside for a while and we can resume other interesting pursuits now. There is a great deal remaining to be hashed out among 'conservative Christians' regarding how we determine which candidates deserve our alignment. To many folks, this seems like a minor issue or even a non-issue. To others, it is an issue, but only to the extent that backwater contrarians need to be silenced. It's my opinion that anytime a 'conservative Christian' is willing to fight for a candidate who supports significant increases in funding to organizations which murder babies, there is a good bit of discussion which remains to be had.

But, the election is over for now. We'll be all wound up again in 2008...some supporting a horrible Democrat who is pro-abortion, others supporting a Republican who is slightly less pro-abortion, and still others "naively" casting their vote for a pro-life candidate.

A lot of blog entries will have been posted between now and November 2008. Will someone please make a note to kick me in the knee at that time if I have adopted an approach to politics which allows me to be comfortable with the candidate who can only promise that he will murder less babies than the Democrat?

I leave you with the Constitution Party's Vice Presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin's recent article:
The Democratic Boogey Man is Gone
