After watching the always improving Razorback basketball team lose to Tennessee last night, I checked in on the Fox News Channel to see if anything worthwhile was being reported. I tuned in just in time to see what most people would see as just another relatively boring segment of "news." However, the particular issue being discussed is no longer just another boring issue to me, it was the "Sodomites have rights!" issue.
Those in favor of advancing the sin of homosexuality as acceptable gained ground last night because of Bill O'Reilly's failure to attack the foolish presuppositions of the Sodomite on his show. Those who are seeking marital rights for homosexuals presuppose that legislation has no moral grounds and that morality should be excluded when considering making laws. I'm sure they would agree with laws against murder and stealing, but people like Bill O'Reilly allow them to get away with their inconsistent babbling while the non-thinking viewer just nods and says, "Well, they've got a point." Absolute drivel.
Well, it only took me about 60 seconds to become disgusted, then frustrated at myself for even thinking that anything worthwhile would be on the news. So, my advice to my readers here is to be careful when you do turn on the TV; don't vegetate and soak in the anti-Christian sentiment being advanced through programs like the one I saw last night.
